HIRING INFORMATION
Hire details
Our standard hire period is from Thursday 9am to Monday 5pm. Items are to be picked up and returned from our address in Avondale, Auckland within the hire period. Unfortunately we do not deliver, however because of this we are able to keep our prices low. Please get in touch if alternative hire periods would be helpful and we will try to accommodate this.
Important point
Our games are designed to be played on grass or an alternative soft surface. If you want to play these indoors or on a deck or other firm surface please let us know as we can provide foam mats for the discs/blocks to land on. Damages caused by items being used on an inappropriate surface will result in charges.

Most likely! The ultimate outdoor games combo fits in my tiny toyota vitz with the back seats down!

Payment & bond
A 50% non-refundable deposit is charged to secure your booking, the remaining balance is due one month before the start of your hire period. Please note: A bond will be added to the invoice total, this will be refunded via bank transfer once all items are returned in the same condition that they were received in.

Cancellations
If you need to change your date, our priority will be to try and accommodate your new hire dates.
If you choose cancel (or we cannot accommodate your new dates) more than 1 week prior to the start of the hire period. A 50% refund will be provided. If a cancellation is made less than 1 week prior to the start of the hire period, no refund will be due
Care of the items
Please ensure all items are handled with care and repacked carefully as supplied. When using hire items outside please make sure they are protected from the weather.
Charges will be incurred for any breakages, damage or missing items. These charges may exceed the value of the bond, as the replacement value of our items is based on either the cost to remake/fix the broken item, or the current retail value of the item.
Hive Event Hire takes no responsibility for injury to any party through breakage of items or other accidents during the hire period. The client is responsible for the care of all items from collection until the return of the item.
